This doesn't go against Manu at all, but he might have been first most exposed to it. The kernel/distro guys run some strategy to get most as soon from subsystems cheap. To add "reviewed-b(u)y" is just another such bullshit on hardware you should confirm, not even in your possession, but this is cheap ... A sponsored v4l-dvb summit at nice coasts ... Mauro, wake up. All of this on always _never_ complete NDA stuff, in worst case only one has access to it and you have some unknown troubles then ... And one without anything at all should sign that crap! (maybe is fine) Nobody knows who has latest currently ... And, new chips are buggy. That was neither invented on v4l or dvb. I think they have gone mad.
