Hello list,

Ihave a problem with older WinTV Nova-T USB tuner.

I seem to get just tuning failed and initial tuning failed.

This is what happens in fc7 (2.6.22.4-65.fc7) when I plug it in:
kernel: usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
kernel: usb 1-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
kernel: ttusb_init_controller: dsp-version: 0.0
kernel: DVB: registering new adapter (Technotrend/Hauppauge Nova-USB).
kernel: DVB: registering frontend 1 (Conexant CX22700 DVB-T)...
kernel: usbcore: registered new interface driver ttusb

I tried with Ubuntu (2.6.20-16.generic) also with similar results but
only that it gives i2c_adapter can't probe for chips. This might be due
to different PC.

There is dvb_ttusb_budget and cx22700 loaded. I have a WinTV Nexus-CA
working with the hardware so I do can find channels (these are ofcource
dvb-c but there are both in the cable). I can use Nova-T with a windows
xp and the channels are found normally in the same cable.

Can anybony help me? Shouldn't it give some kind of info about firmware?
Although I am not quite sure what the fw should be.

\\Kartsa
