The Maxlinear tuners MXL5005 (used alongwith the AF9015 in certain
combinations) support 13 segment only, not 1 segment.

While i searched why, this URL seemed a bit interesting.

I am a bit confused as to why a tuner wouldn't tune (leaving a
demodulator out of the picture), when the segments are specific to the
Transmission parameters.
