It would reduce the risk to introduce a bug. I was now using this patch for 1-2 weeks. This setup has a FF-dvb-c and a budget dvb-t card and after the patch there were no more timeout messages. However since I added the asus p7131 I am seeing this message regularly again (44 times in the last 5 days). Thanks for investigating on this!!
