Hi, Unfortunately I'm still seeing the "USB disconnects" even with the new firware and drivers on a new Hauppauge NOVA-T-500. I have confirmed that I am using the *-03-pre1.fw and that the dvb drivers/modules have all been built from hg. Details below: hg repository :- Latest taken 2 Aug 2007 using hg clone http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb Firmware:- 0b39b8cceb1ccdb86d6fc932149aff25 dvb-usb-dib0700-03-pre1.fw System:- Linux mythtv-desktop 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP Thu Jun 7 20:19:32 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux ASUS Pundit P1-AH2 Error:-(just a small sample from the log) usb 3-1: USB disconnect, address 2 Aug 4 22:23:19 mythtv-desktop kernel: [27214.000000] mt2060 I2C read failed Aug 4 22:23:19 mythtv-desktop kernel: [27214.008000] mt2060 I2C read failed Aug 4 22:23:19 mythtv-desktop kernel: [27214.016000] mt2060 I2C read failed Aug 4 22:23:19 mythtv-desktop kernel: [27214.124000] usb 3-1: USB disconnect, address 2 Aug 4 22:23:19 mythtv-desktop kernel: [27214.164000] mt2060 I2C write failed Aug 4 22:25:19 mythtv-desktop kernel: [27333.908000] mt2060 I2C write failed (len=2) Aug 4 22:25:19 mythtv-desktop kernel: [27333.908000] mt2060 I2C write failed (len=6) Any ideas? Is it related to the kernel version I am using? I would be happy to supply any additional data required.
