proxyDVB / Network Char Device

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone ever used proxyDVB to provide access to a DVB
device across a LAN, in a similar fashion to a network block device.
I'd like to access a client's DVB-S card from my VDR server
transparently.

I've setup a version 2.4 kernel box to test this out, and once I've
figured out how to integrate drivers into the kernel I will report
back. :-)
