Hello, everyone
     I am now using a tv card which only has windows driver.
     But I want to use it under my Ubuntu system very badly.
     Could someone help me to figure out?
     Thank you all.

Not until now. Thanks for reporting. ;-)

Please test whether it works when you use a sane symbol rate.
0 does not make sense.

Apparently, specifying symbol rate 0 causes a divide-by-zero error in
stv0297_set_sweeprate().

Anyway, the driver should not crash. I'll apply a fix asap.

I wholeheartedly welcome our new EM28XX overlords..
erm I mean, I totally support this decision if it results in better
hardware support.

Can you give us little more info?

What kind of card is it? Vendor/Model?

OT, perhaps... I have run strace on kaffeine and it just gives up
reading any section after 5 seconds. I don't know the standard but I
have the feeling this is much too short and too fault-intolerant, so
the proper fix for this issue would be to fix kaffeine.
