Yes, it has Reply-To-All, which is what I use. Then I proceed cutting "linux-dvb@xxxxxxxxxxx" <linux-dvb@xxxxxxxxxxx> out of the CC: field, selecting all text in To: field, and pasting it there. Which is quite annoying. And if the previous email had multiple CC's, then I need to clear the rest of them out of CC field. I don't need to CC another copy to YOU since clearly you've already subscribed to the list. -tc On 5/18/07, Shannon Wynter <dvb-v4l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
G'day. I'm not going to get into any of the other argument (arguing on the internet is like... well you know) however. With regards to the reply-to address: Most mail clients have a 'Reply-All' button. I noticed you are using gmail, when viewing an email in gmail, right-besides the reply button is a little arrow, clicking this should display the 'Reply to all' option. I hope this makes your life a litle more convenient. timecop wrote: > Before that, I think a more productive change would be to make this > list's Reply-To header go back to LINUX-DVB@WHATEVER instead of > replying to the original user, and having to copy/paste + CC the rest > of the addresses, which is more annoying than Uwe's thesaurus. > > -tc
