initial tuning failed

hello, maybe somebody can help. after system-crash, I updated
reinstalled my system, but now, i cannot get dvb working.
after dvbscan i get the following warning:
WARNING: frontend type (OFDM) is not compatible with requested
tuning type (QAM)
and the the error:
ERROR: initial tuning failed
dumping lists (0 services)
Done.
i have the 2.6.18.8 linux-kernel

the dmesg looks so:

usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 18

dvb-usb: found a 'DiBcom USB1.1 DVB-T reference design (MOD3000)' in
warm state.
dvb-usb: will use the device's hardware PID filter (table count: 16).
DVB: registering new adapter (DiBcom USB1.1 DVB-T reference design
(MOD3000)).
DVB: registering frontend 0 (DiBcom 3000M-B DVB-T)...
dibusb: This device has the Thomson Cable onboard. Which is default.
input: IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver as /class/input/input9
dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 150 msecs.
dvb-usb: DiBcom USB1.1 DVB-T reference design (MOD3000) successfully
initialized and connected.

before all worked without problems. does anymody know, why it is not
compatible?
