Did you try modprobe cx88-dvb? Also check to make sure your kernel is compiled with Automatic kernel module loading so that you don't have to load the driver manually

This weekend I upgraded to 2.6.20.
My tuning board is found
CORE cx88[0]: subsystem: 0070:9002, board: Hauppauge Nova-T DVB-T [card=18,autodetected]
but nothing appears in /dev/dvb.

Any hints? What an I doing wrong? With 2.6.19.1 all works fine
