that are very good news.

Can you please do the following:

Check out the latest v4l-dvb from hg, apply your changes, check if it 
still works and send the output of hg diff to this list along with your 
Signed-Off-By-line (see also README.patches is v4l-dvb).

Then it will go into the kernel quite soon.
