Darren : you've fixed my problem with the Nova-T stick :)
I edited the uk-SandyHeath file that comes with the linux-dvb-apps to
match the BBC1 frequency here:
http://linux.mikeasoft.com/dvb/channel/channels.conf-dvbt-sandy_heath
...and suddenly it tunes :) The same file works fine with my PCI DVB-T
tuners. It's obviously pickier, as you say...
