Marc, do you still have an error on modprobe cinergyT2 ? I just saw a
message about that :
WARNING: Module
/lib/modules/2.6.17-10-386/kernel/drivers/media/dvb/frontends/cinergyT2.ko
is not an elf object
Well, if you still have it, you should report the problem on Ubuntu
forums, this is cinergyT2 module is mandatory for this tuner !
Well, now I 'm not shure I fetched it from here...
http://lisa.cs.uni-potsdam.de/lxr/source/drivers/media/dvb/cinergyT2/
Then I did not build it, is that wrong???
Or was it included in the Edgy package??
Marc
Well, there should be a cinergyt2.ko in your /lib/modules tree.
For me:
#find /lib/modules/2.6.17.10 -name 'cinergy*'
/lib/modules/2.6.17.10/kernel/drivers/media/dvb/cinergyT2
/lib/modules/2.6.17.10/kernel/drivers/media/dvb/cinergyT2/cinergyT2.ko
Size of my module (may differ slightly because it is recompiled for my
system):
#size /lib/modules/2.6.17.10/kernel/drivers/media/dvb/cinergyT2/cinergyT2.ko
text data bss dec hex filename
6554 988 4 7546 1d7a
/lib/modules/2.6.17.10/kernel/drivers/media/dvb/cinergyT2/cinergyT2.ko

Hi,
Thierry thanks a lot for your help.
Looks like Marc was using the precompiled module from this site above
and this causes the elf object error.
As my girl friend is coming, I'll do the test next week ;-)
Marc
