I have acquired a Hauppague HVR 1110 latelly and I am trying to get it run with v4l-dvb.
Having a mandriva 2006, I had to install a new kernel (2.6.17-8mdv) in order to compile the v4l. I d/l the latest version of v4l either by mercurial, or by the bz2 tree and compiled the v4l.
I had to comment out the if LINUX_VERSION_CODE < KENREL_VERSION(2,6,18)
spin_lock_bh();
otherwise it does not compile
but unfortunatelly, when I modpobe the saa7134 module it crahses (Segmentation fault). Below is the /var/log/messages output
