No joy - same error.

Here is what I do know, the aerial is fine and a signal is received by the TV Digibox. 

>From my first email, did the subsystem appear to be in order? I keep thinking that something is missing... but from my search I cannot find it. 

Is there any tests that I can do? I feel like I am flying blind and following this guide and that one but I do not really know if "stuff" is relevant as it appears these drivers/cards evolve very quickly (as does the kernel).
