A friend of mine has got an Asus MyCinema U3000 (not the "mini" version) DVB-T device and he's trying to make it work with Linux. Apparently this device (USB external) is based on DIB3000 chip, but to date we've been unable to make it work. We've tried to manually load the modules listed on LinuxTv wiki page, (DIB3000 section), but no luck. The system doesn't seem to recognize the device or even try to load the firmware at all.
Any tips for dealing with this device?
Cheers
