I posted an almost identical message to this mailing list some time earlier, and this was the second time i sent in a question to the mailing list. On both occasions I have recieved not a single response. Is there something I am doing wrong? Am I posting in the wrong format or have i offended someone? The body of my email is appended at the bottom. Thanks, Phil T. Works fine if I boot with the 2.6.17 or 2.6.16 kernals (all three kernels are available via grub). Below are outputs from Kaffeine and dmesg using 2.6.17 and 2.6.18 kernels. In both cases machine was turned off prior to test forcing a cold start on the tuner. All actions identical - e.g. boot up, run Kaffeine from a terminal, then select channel 7 (australia). Only difference between tests should be the kernel. Linux distro is Debian Etch, up to date as of today. Tuner is Nebula Digitv usb original version with Nxt6000 demod. Motherboard is nForce 2 based board running Athlon 2500XP. _______________________________________________________________________ KAFFEINE OUTPUT FROM 2.6.18 KERNEL _______________________________________________________________________ barny@barny:~$ kaffeine DCOPClient::attachInternal.
