Hi all,
I've tried the patch, and now the usb card gets recognized:
dib0700: loaded with support for 2 different device-types
dvb-usb: found a 'Asus My Cinema-U3000 Mini' in cold state, will try to
load a firmware
dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file 'dvb-usb-dib0700-01.fw'
dib0700: firmware started successfully.
...
dvb-usb: found a 'Asus My Cinema-U3000 Mini' in warm state.
dvb-usb: will pass the complete MPEG2 transport stream to the software
demuxer.
DVB: registering new adapter (Asus My Cinema-U3000 Mini).
DVB: registering frontend 0 (DiBcom 7000PC)...
dvb-usb: Asus My Cinema-U3000 Mini successfully initialized and connected.
usbcore: registered new interface driver dvb_usb_dib0700
But when i try to scan channels, it founds nothing, the output of 'scan
/usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples/scan/dvb-t/es-Madrid' gives me:
scanning /usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples/scan/dvb-t/es-Madrid

I've found a channels.conf for Madrid (my city) on
/usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples, and copied it to /root/.tzap, but
when i try the command 'tzap TELECINCO' (for example) it outputs:
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'

I have dvb-t signal where i have the pc; and also the card comes with a
pluggable antenna i've tried with the same results.
Any ideas?
Thanks again,
David

Hi,
The only thing you are missing is to put the USB IDs into
dib0710_device.c .
The attached patch tries to do that... Can you please check it and report
whether it works or not?

Hello
I've got a USB DVB-T from Asus, and am trying to get it working on
Debian. It has a STK7700 inside (from lsusb -v, attached) so i've
updated the vendor id's and device id's to add this card. So far, it
gets recognized, but i have no /dev/dvb dir, the firmware is on
/lib/firmware and /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware (dvb-usb-dibusb-6.0.0.8.fw)
but dmesg gives me no message about firmware being loaded or not. What
else can i try?
Thanks,
David
