femon - what should the output look like?

I am continuing to try and work out why my Nova-T stick doesn't work. I've got the latest dvb-apps from hg and built them

When I run femon, while xine is running successfully watching TV I get the following:

femon
FE: DiBcom 7000PC (DVBT)
status V | signal 7c9c | snr 0000 | ber 02000200 | unc 00008363 |
status | signal 7c9c | snr 0000 | ber 02000200 | unc 00008363 |
status | signal 7c9c | snr 0000 | ber 02000200 | unc 00008363 |

I haven't found any info on the web about what the femon output is supposed to look like, but I'm guessing that the absence of any mention of LOCK etc. is not good?

However xine IS letting me watch TV, I'm guessing that this means that xine doesn't bother to check for lock and just goes ahead and tunes and tries to stream what it can?

Other things like mplayer and dvbstream fail saying they cannot get lock.

I'm guessing this means the driver isn't reporting correctly back to the dvb system, as its clearly working fine, picture quality is good etc.

Has anyone come across this before? Could someone at least tell me what the femon output should look like?

This is using the following kernel, drivers etc.
