Which version of the Dual Digital is it?  Version 4 is not yet
supported, though Michael Krufky is working on wrapping a v4l
implementation (see recent posting in the list archives), but you can
save yourself some headache and wait til this is done if you have this card.

You should probably get yourself a newer kernel to be compatible with
current DVB releases

I would suggest using the tree from the hg repo, instructions at:

See above, try with latest stable kernel (2.6.19.1), and source from the
HG repo, then report back
