I, too, have the same problem. Running a DVico Dual Digital 2 in my MythTV box I get no response for the remote using evtest or cat. I am running mythtv on Ubuntu Fiesty (Development), but had exactly the same problem with Edgy. Could it have something to do with the remote being registered twice?
