Hi, I'm using the prerelease Mantis drivers + patches from the list to drive a 2033 CAB-CI card (1822:0008). This works (except the CI part), but is very unreliable. Sometimes tuning does not work on bootup, sometimes it works fine for several hours until you stop watching or tune to different channels too fast. This is an example of what I get in dmesg when this happens: [cu1216_set_parameters]:frequency = 290000000 , symbol = 6875000 , qam = 3, inversion = 0 err={0031 0039 0000 max=1}. [cu1216_set_parameters]:frequency = 290000000 , symbol = 6875000 , qam = 3, inversion = 1 err={0035 0039 0000 max=1}. [cu1216_set_parameters]:frequency = 290000000 , symbol = 6875000 , qam = 3, inversion = 1 err={0039 0040 0000 max=1}. [cu1216_set_parameters]:frequency = 290000000 , symbol = 6875000 , qam = 3, inversion = 1 err={0035 0040 0000 max=1}. [cu1216_set_parameters]:frequency = 290000000 , symbol = 6875000 , qam = 3, inversion = 0 err={0035 003d 0000 max=1}. [cu1216_set_parameters]:frequency = 290000000 , symbol = 6875000 , qam = 3, inversion = 0 err={0039 0031 0044 max=2}. [cu1216_set_parameters]:frequency = 290000000 , symbol = 6875000 , qam = 3, inversion = 1 err={0035 0031 0026 max=3}. [cu1216_set_parameters]:frequency = 290000000 , symbol = 6875000 , qam = 3, inversion = 1 err={0035 0039 0000 max=1}. [cu1216_set_parameters]:frequency = 290000000 , symbol = 6875000 , qam = 3, inversion = 0 err={0035 0035 0000 max=1}. [cu1216_set_parameters]:frequency = 290000000 , symbol = 6875000 , qam = 3, inversion = 0 err={0039 0039 0000 max=1}. ..and so on. The messages stop coming when I stop trying to watch, but after I've gotten one of these I can never again get a lock on a channel. The only way of fixing this is rebooting the machine, since the modules can't be rmmod/modprobed (like many other people on this list, if I do that, upon modprobing it tells me it can't find a frontend). Is this something I can do anything about? I'd really like to get my MythTV machine up and running. /fnord _______________________________________________ linux-dvb mailing list linux-dvb@xxxxxxxxxxx http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linux-dvb
