      Well, the channels in my channels channels.conf have a defined
FEC_ (no auto), the only _AUTO (and, in all of them) is
INVERSION_AUTO.

      Thanks anyway. I'm just trying to figure out why that strange
behaviour in some channels and the "magic" of tunning to the 0 ber/unc
channel.

      I'll wait the "antenna guy", who must review my antenna
installation someday next week anyway :)

IMHO, in your case, I'm afraid but it should make no difference.
