The USB-Port is dying. It seems so. Yet, it is something caused by the DVB device or driver, since it occurs specifically when I try to change something. I just tried to just watch TV, and it worked without oopsing; in particular, it survived several of these annoying but seemingly harmless "APIC error"s that I have since the beginning. It oopsed when I tried to change the channel (on the fourth time). On the other hand, I just tried to insert an USB hub in the chain, and now mplayer complains that: dvb_streaming_read, attempt N. 6 failed with errno 0 when reading 1948 bytes and tzap shows a status of 1b instead of 1f. The status stays 1b even if I unplug the stick and re-plug it directly on the computer. It all seems quite mysterious. > > [ 1891.087915] usb 1-6: USB disconnect, address 2 > And the device disconnects. I assume while you are watching TV. That's why > the following Oops.
