Ok, figured this out for myself - it is working, I just have crap
reception! After manually hunting through some channels I finally got
sound and picture on BBC FOUR and the LED is now a steady green.
Looks like a new roof top aerial (to replace the loft one) is gonna be
required, but at least the technology works!
Graham.

Well I finally got the file thanks to some pointers from a couple of
helpful people :-) If anyone needs it I'm happy to mail it to them.
However, whilst the firmware has loaded to the stick (a Freecom DVB-USB)
it's now sat there with a steady orange light, does this mean it is or
isn't working?
I have the required directories in /dev/dvb but scandvb finds nothing and
even using a channels.conf for Rowridge (my "local" transmitter) generated
by someone else, xine finds no channels.
regards,
Graham.

So near, yet so far! Someone must have downloaded this file before
http://thadathil.net went offline!
Please, if you do, send it on to me or Alan so that we can share it with
the wilder world.
cheers,
Graham.
