Thats good, until you do the scan it should show orange (amber is english for an orange with a brown element to it) ... > > What are the permissions on these device nodes? Are you sure nothing is created? Do you have udev in your system to create device nodes dynamically. If you have it, but the wrong rules you get /dev/dvb* files. With the standard rules you get /dev/dvb/adapter0/... devices. What does lsusb -t show, mine shows this. root@roo:~# lsusb -t Bus# 3 `-Dev# 1 Vendor 0x0000 Product 0x0000 |-Dev# 16 Vendor 0x14aa Product 0x0226 `-Dev# 18 Vendor 0x14aa Product 0x0226 Bus# 2 `-Dev# 1 Vendor 0x0000 Product 0x0000 Bus# 1 `-Dev# 1 Vendor 0x0000 Product 0x0000 root@roo:~# -- Alan Chandler http://www.chandlerfamily.org.uk _______________________________________________ linux-dvb mailing list linux-dvb@xxxxxxxxxxx http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linux-dvb
