Urrrgh!!! I didn't realise it was bitbanging like that. I can see why it was 
there to begin with tho; the ves1893 doesn't have any DISEQC support. 

I would test, but i have no diseqc equipment. This at least may explain the 
few remaining failures though.. I'd be for just pulling it in if no one else 
replies, and it works for youu

And thanks for telling me before I went totally insane :)
