Hi all

Can any one shed any light on this problem.

I have just taken delivery of a new Hauppauge WinTV-Nova-T-USB2 understanding that this was fully supported by linux.

I have downloaded the firmware file dvb-usb-nova-t-usb2-01.fw and it is found on plugging in the card. However no frontend device is created

Output from message file:

Jun 20 18:14:39 pingu kernel: usb 1-10: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 16

Jun 20 18:14:41 pingu kernel: dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file 'dvb-usb-nova-t-usb2-01.fw'

There are no further entries in the file.

trying to run a scan results in :

./scan ./dvb-t/uk-CrystalPalace
scanning ./dvb-t/uk-CrystalPalace
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
main:2247: FATAL: failed to open '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0': 2 No such file or directory

What am I missing?
