Unfortunately there are no shadow registers, it is completely hidden
behind a pseudo bridge.
I mean that you save the values passed in from FE_SET_PARAMS,
and use the saved values for FE_GET_PARAMS if the hardware
doesn't allow to query them via i2c at the time of the
FE_GET_PARAMS call.
(It might mean that if someone tuned with FEC_AUTO they get
back FEC_AUTO instead of the real value, but that's not as bad
as failing the call completely, I think.)
