It's some months ago when I could compile the hg repository without

I don't know much about hg, but I build from it once a week, and it
compiles OK for me. I have just done this:
rm -r v4l-dvb
hg clone http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb
cd v4l-dvb
make all
and it compiles OK with a few warnings.
Perhaps you local copy of the repository is out of step with the main hg
trunk?

That's not the case :)
I always download the complete tarball via the webinterface and fail during compilation ;)
