Kernel Oops with Hauppauge WinTV NOVA T USB2

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all

I cannot use anymore the Hauppauge WinTV NOVA T USB2.
I'm using Fedora 5, kernel 2.6.16.15 and latest Mercurial code.

I get Kernel Oops a few seconds after I plug in the USB cable.
It used to work very well until 18 April 2006.

I've found that the problem started sometime between version 3845 and
3898 of the HG Repository, in that area there are a lot of check ins
named

"Convert XXX to refactored tuner code"

Here is an example of my /var/log/messages

Could someone please tell me how to solve this.

I've posted the same in the mailing list "video4linux" but I think
this is a better place. I'm not sure about the difference of the 2
mailing lists.

Thanks

Mario
