I have the same problem like Halim Sahin with his tt dvb-c 2.1 the card works fine with qam64 channels channels with higher modulation like qam256 produce several dropouts I already tried to change the PWM in ves1820.c - with no effect according the ves1820 spec the frontend should support qam256 so, it looks like a linux driver problem any ideas how to fix it?
I would just like to report that qam256 modulation is working fine here for me. In belgium, we are seeing a mix of qam64 and qam256 transports. They both work ok. Using a technotrend C2100 DVB: registering new adapter (Technotrend/Hauppauge WinTV DVB-C rev2.X). adapter has MAC addr = XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX dvb-ttpci: gpioirq unknown type=0 len=0 dvb-ttpci: info @ card 0: firm f0240009, rtsl b0250018, vid 71010068, app 800026 22 dvb-ttpci: firmware @ card 0 supports CI link layer interface dvb-ttpci: Crystal audio DAC @ card 0 detected saa7146_vv: saa7146 (0): registered device video0 [v4l2] saa7146_vv: saa7146 (0): registered device vbi0 [v4l2] DVB: registering frontend 0 (VLSI VES1820 DVB-C)... input: DVB on-card IR receiver as /class/input/input2 dvb-ttpci: found av7110-0.
