Hi folks,
within the following patch collection against kernel 2.6.17-rc2 my Pinnsat
card runs stable out of the box and completely error-free.
As my Email client wordwraps patches as normal behaviour I decided to add
this material as outline attachment.
I do not care "maintainers" dropping patches without giving reason. For me
hierarchies that depend on the mercy of a house master brushing the yard
(disguised as "maintainer") are completely senseless.
So I publish that code to help users. This solution is far more better than
the extreme fattened modules resulting by an additional mercurial tree that
nobody appreciates.

Patch 1_5: dvb-bt8xx.c
Changes: code cleanup on a stable basis

Patch 2_5: bt878.c
Changes: code cleanup on a stable basis

Patch 3_5: cx24110.c
Changes: fix tab error in dprintk

Patch 4_5: dvb_frontend.c
Changes:
- fix type error
- fix application playback error after cold start that I already reported
for two times on this mailing list, entering nothing but deaf ears

Patch 5_5: bt8xx.txt
Changes:
- card ID references reduced to one proven example in which autodetection
does not work in all cases (TwinHan)
- added cross references (=>)
- automatic approach for module loading instead of modprobe statements
- added date
- compressed and efficient info now

All patches:
Signed-off-by: Uwe Bugla <uwe.bugla@xxxxxx>

Cheers everybody
Uwe
