Hi Thomas,

i have an Artec T1 USB-DVB-T stick. This device have unrecognized product ids tells lsusb,
in cold state:
ID 05d8:810b Ultima Electronics Corp.
in warm state:

I have pictures of the stick here:
http://hal9000.drehmoment.org/artec/artec1.jpg
http://hal9000.drehmoment.org/artec/artec2.jpg

My first try to get the stick to work was editing the product ids:
diff /tmp/linux-2.6.16/drivers/media/dvb/dvb-usb/dvb-usb-ids.h /usr/src/linux/drivers/media/dvb/dvb-usb/dvb-usb-ids.h
74,75c74,75
< #define USB_PID_ULTIMA_TVBOX_USB2_COLD                0x8109
< #define USB_PID_ULTIMA_TVBOX_USB2_WARM                0x810a
---
#define USB_PID_ULTIMA_TVBOX_USB2_COLD                0x810b
#define USB_PID_ULTIMA_TVBOX_USB2_WARM                0x810c

With this changes the stick loads the firmware successfully, the LED is on. Some devices are created, but the driver create no frontend, dmesg says:
dvb-usb: no frontend was attached by 'Artec T1 USB2.0'

is there a way to get the stick to work?

It is not so sure, that this stick is based on dib3000 as the other ultima-device has been.

Is there any way to open device to see the ICs used?

regards,
Patrick.
