You will find an updated version of the MT2060 patch at : www.chez.com/treza/liteon.htm This patch need to be cross-tested before being included into the main repository. The differences with last week's are : - All the MT2060 handling code has been moved to a "frontend" module. - The tuner selection now relies on autodetection because some manufacturers ( Yuan ) didn't bother to get USB IDs different from the original DibCom demoboard. - The agc_tuner parameters are now set correctly. - The spur avoidance algorithm is now disabled as default. I tried to test it and I could not find any effect. - The driver shall work with the following devices : - LITEON/Intuix S800/Toshiba DVB-T USB 2.0 Stick - MSI Digivox Mini SL ( as Philip Lawatsch found ) - Grand DVB-T Pen USB 2.0 ( Please report PASS/FAIL ) - Yuan PD300 DVB-T Mobility ( Please report PASS/FAIL ) - Probably others !!! ATTENTION ACHTUNG ATENCIÓN !!! It would be great if someone posessing a : "Hauppage WinTV-NOVA-T USB2" or "AVerMedia AverTV DVB-T USB 2.0 (A800)" checks whether this patch breaks the support of that device. !!! ATTENTION ACHTUNG ATENCIÓN !!! The fixture still have 2 problems : - There is still no startup calibration. I am still trying to figure it out. - It gets into higher levels of code obfuscation due to the the way the tuner is attached and the handling of the AGC parameters customisation. Maybe someone with <em>The Knowledge</em> can enhance that before merging into <em>The Main Tree</em>. Nevertheless, it seems to work.
