I recently got a Twinhan 102g card but have been strugling to get it running with Fedora Core 5 kernel 2.6.15.x86_64. The card is recognized by the kernel and bttv stack is inserted. I use the following modules options: options dvb_core dvb_shutdown_timeout=0 options bttv i2c_hw=1 card=0x71 here is what I see: ..... Mar 9 18:26:18 localhost kernel: bttv: driver version 0.9.16 loaded Mar 9 18:26:18 localhost kernel: bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (520 pages) each for capture Mar 9 18:26:18 localhost kernel: bt878: Unknown symbol bttv_read_gpio Mar 9 18:26:18 localhost kernel: bt878: Unknown symbol bttv_write_gpio Mar 9 18:26:18 localhost kernel: bt878: Unknown symbol bttv_gpio_enable Mar 9 18:26:18 localhost kernel: bttv: Bt8xx card found (0). ..... then after modprobe dvb-bt8xxx the device is configured: ........ Mar 9 18:26:32 localhost kernel: DVB: registering frontend 0 (DST DVB-S)... ........ The problem is that dvbscan an szap cannot lock any of the channel. I guess this has something to do with the gpio error messages I see above. I read that there were problems like that with the Twinhan cards and there might be patches that resolve these issues. Can you tell what patches should I get and where to find them? Thanks, Simeon __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
