It's been a few years since I've posted anything to the
linux-dvb list about my MyHD Linux Driver project. Since
that time I have made some good progress, though
video capture/playback is still a ways off.
The myhd driver itself is at version 0.2.0, which adds
some support for the TL880's OSD and some useful
tools for tweaking the card's registers and memory.
The TL880Spy program, a program for Windows that
allows access to the card's registers and memory, is
at version 1.1. It is much improved over version 1.0,
and its new features allowed me to figure out the
TL880's OSD.
Soon I will write a Linux framebuffer driver that uses
the TL880's OSD. Since the only card I have is an
older MyHD, it's not guaranteed to work with any other
cards.
I could use help in development if anybody has a
TL880-based card (WinTV-HD, HiPix, MyHD, etc.) in
a Windows or a Linux system. Information on how to help
