Hi, I have tried to modify the channel.conf to work with ca_zap. I have not found what format it should be for ca_zap -t ter option. I running on linux-2.6.15-gentoo-r1 and using linuxtv-dvb-apps-1.1.0 My cazap.conf looks like this: ZTV:706000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_1_2:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_8:HIERARCHY_NONE:1199:1198:1190 ( This would be the same line as in my channel.conf that I use for tzap ) The error is: ERROR: transmission_mode field syntax error I have tryied different things but non have been working for me. Pleas give me some hints where to find more info or if someone has a working file for the "-t ter", send it here. Do I need to send more logs? And I can tune in free channels when My CI is connected Thanks in advance, Tomas > >Hi, >I have a Twinhan VisionPlus VP-TER-3040-B and using 2.6.15-r1 kernel. >My problem is that I can only tune in channels when the CI is disconnected. >Some hints what I could do to make it work? > >Here is what ca_zap tells me (after tzap has found the channel) and dmesg: > > $ ca_zap -c channels.conf -t ter -n ZTV > Using Adpater=[/dev/dvb/adapter0] > Frontend=[/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0] > Demux=[/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0] > Slot=[/dev/dvb/adapter0/ca0] > Parsing channels.conf > Terrestrial frontend > ERROR: transmission_mode field syntax error > Service ID=[0] > parse_pat: ----------------->parse PAT section > parse_pat: PAT => Section Length=[53], TS ID=[1111] > parse_si: PMT PID = [16] > parse_si: PAT: Close Demux /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0 > >Or ... > > $ ca_zap -c channels.conf -n ZTV > Using Adpater=[/dev/dvb/adapter0] > Frontend=[/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0] > Demux=[/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0] > Slot=[/dev/dvb/adapter0/ca0] > Parsing channels.conf > parse_pat: ----------------->parse PAT section > parse_pat: PAT => Section Length=[53], TS ID=[1111] > parse_si: PMT PID = [16] > parse_si: PAT: Close Demux /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0 > >And this is what I got from dmesg > ... > i2c /dev entries driver > Linux video capture interface: v1.00 > bttv: driver version 0.9.16 loaded > bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (520 pages) each for capture > bttv: Bt8xx card found (0). > ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:09.0[A] -> Link [LNKD] -> GSI 9 (level, low) -> IRQ 9 > bttv0: Bt878 (rev 17) at 0000:00:09.0, irq: 9, latency: 32, mmio: 0xe7000000 > bttv0: detected: Twinhan VisionPlus DVB [card=113], PCI subsystem ID is 1822:0001 > bttv0: using: Twinhan DST + clones [card=113,autodetected] > bttv0: gpio: en=00000000, out=00000000 in=00f500fd [init] > bttv0: using tuner=4 > bttv0: add subdevice "dvb0" > bt878: AUDIO driver version 0.0.0 loaded > bt878: Bt878 AUDIO function found (0). > ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:09.1[A] -> Link [LNKD] -> GSI 9 (level, low) -> IRQ 9 > bt878(0): Bt878 (rev 17) at 00:09.1, irq: 9, latency: 32, memory: 0xe6800000 > DVB: registering new adapter (bttv0). > dst_get_device_id: Recognise [DTT-CI] > > DST type flags : 0x1 newtuner 0x2 ts204 0x10 firmware version = 2 > dst_get_mac: MAC Address=[00:08:ca:17:cd:00] > dst_ca_attach: registering DST-CA device > DVB: registering frontend 0 (DST DVB-T)... > ... > >regards, >Tomas > > > _______________________________________________ linux-dvb@xxxxxxxxxxx http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linux-dvb
