I think this may be happening because you have a card with the new chipset
on it. if you look at the actual board you will see it's got a cx23882-39
number, this is new, the original / older boards end with a -19 on the
chipset and work fine with the newer kernels.
In saying that, that's about the only help I can provide, I have no
'technical' idea on how to get this one working, or what the specific
differences are that stop it from working. But it's more information that I
imagine you can pass onto the . The other option
would
be to attempt to contact Chris Pascoe (
http://www.itee.uq.edu.au/~chrisp/Linux-DVB/DVICO/) , he wrote the original
DVico driver before it was included in the kernel. He may have some more
pertinent information.
I was lucky and managed to find a windows only user who didn't care about
linux support and was happy with a newer chipset, so we swapped.
