Marcin. Thank you for the feedback. I was hoping someone out there knows of a patch for this problem if this is a known problem or could point out what I am doing wrong. The following entry in my log hints of a problem with my setup but I don't know enough to know for sure whether this is what's stopping udev from not creating the /dev/dvb directories: videodev: "av7110" has no release callback.
