I split the aerial where it comes through the wall and when send one lead to the freeview box and one to the computer I get bad reception on the computer. But when I just have one wire from the wall to the computer, or even if I just unplug the aerial from the freeview box I get good reception. Is it possible that the freeview box is corrupting the signal somehow? Anyway for now the solution is to unplug the old freeview box and train the wife to use MythTV.
