[linux-dvb] Updates of scan files for Sydney, Australia

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

1) Propose adding D44 to
    /dvb-apps/util/scan/dvb-t/au-sydney_north_shore
Either take the last two lines from this,
or replace completely with this slightly better documented one:

# Australia / Sydney / North Shore (aka Artarmon/Gore Hill)
#
# T freq bw fec_hi fec_lo mod transmission-mode guard-interval hierarchy
#
# ABC VHF12
T 226500000 7MHz 3/4 NONE QAM64 8k 1/16 NONE
# Seven VHF6
T 177500000 7MHz 2/3 NONE QAM64 8k 1/8 NONE
# Nine VHF8
T 191625000 7MHz 3/4 NONE QAM64 8k 1/16 NONE
# Ten VHF11
T 219500000 7MHz 3/4 NONE QAM64 8k 1/16 NONE
# SBS UHF34
T 571500000 7MHz 2/3 NONE QAM64 8k 1/8 NONE
# D44 UHF35 (testing)
T 578500000 7MHz 2/3 NONE QAM64 8k 1/8 NONE

2) A new file for Kings Cross & North Head should be created:

% cat /dvb-apps/util/scan/dvb-t/au-Sydney_Kings_Cross
# Australia / Sydney / Kings Cross and North Head
#
# T freq bw fec_hi fec_lo mod transmission-mode guard-interval hierarchy
#
# ABC UHF30
T 543500000 7MHz 3/4 NONE QAM64 8k 1/16 NONE
# Seven UHF48
T 669500000 7MHz 2/3 NONE QAM64 8k 1/8 NONE
# Nine UHF33
T 564500000 7MHz 3/4 NONE QAM64 8k 1/16 NONE
# Ten UHF45
T 648500000 7MHz 3/4 NONE QAM64 8k 1/16 NONE
# SBS UHF34
T 571500000 7MHz 2/3 NONE QAM64 8k 1/8 NONE

Note that I have not checked the FEC or guard,
but most clents won't care?
