[linux-dvb] Something wrong with firmware for Freecom DVB-t USB Stick?

I've found some weirdness with the firmware used for the Freecom DVB-t
USB Stick device.

Using the dvb-usb-dtt200u-01.fw firmware file (yes, I've checked the
md5sums according to earlier messages) I get no success tuning and it
causes my machine (nforce2-based Athlon) to do a full hardware lockup
about 30 seconds after I stop attempting to tune the device.

If I load the firmware through vmware and the included Windows
application, I can use the device just fine from the Linux drivers (with
a bit of module juggling, of course).

So I'm wondering if perhaps this, rather new, device needs a slightly
different firmware? From what I've read here, some people have got
this device going without problems.

I've had a hunt around on the included CD and inside the application's
install directories under Windows for something that looks like the
firmware, without any luck. Any suggestions on where I could find this?

So, if someone could give me what you need to check the revision of the
device, I'll send it through so we can diagnose working/non-working
revisions.
