Hi
I'm Romano Ferdinando
I have a Suse 9.2 Pro.
I have bought a Pinnacle PCTV SAT but I have some
problems to use with my linux

 Can you help me?

The card is recognized:
nando@eclipse:~> /sbin/lspci

So I type :

---------
# modprobe bttv i2c_hw=1 card=0x5E
# modprobe dvb-bt8xx
# modprobe cx24110
-----------

and dmesg show me

----------------

But I don't undestand the reason for which
my system doesn't create the device
/dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0 and doesn't associate it to the
stream of my Pinnacle card

Which is the content of this device video0 and vbi0?
What do they represent?
Do you think that is necessary to use a firmware for
this card?
Do you have any suggestions to use this card?

Thanks for your kindness

Best Regards

Romano Ferdinando
