Hi, all I am testing Air2PC-ATSC-PCI(r1.0) with linux platform(include b2c2 flexcop IIb). I followed readme file. But linux applications(b2dump) was not executed. I downloaded and uncompressed Broadband4PC Linux SDK v1.12.0 from bbti website(http://www.bbti.su/support.htm) and then, I ran install.sh, but linux machine was executed outputting below message. # [root@61-250-140-101 Develop]# ./install.sh # chmod: failed to get attributes of `/usr/local/b2c2/tqrecv/tqrecv_bw_2.4': No such file or directory and I ran ran b2c2 start. Linux machine outputting below message. # [root@61-250-140-101 bin]# ./b2c2 start # Load modules from: ../driver/2.4.20-8 # net.core.rmem_default = 524287 # net.core.rmem_max = 524287 # load ../driver/2.4.20-8/sll_lib.o # Warning: loading ../driver/2.4.20-8/sll_lib.o will taint the kernel: no license # See http://www.tux.org/lkml/#export-tainted for information about tainted modules # Module sll_lib loaded, with warnings # load ../driver/2.4.20-8/skynet.o # Warning: loading ../driver/2.4.20-8/skynet.o will taint the kernel: no license # See http://www.tux.org/lkml/#export-tainted for information about tainted modules # Module skynet loaded, with warnings # ./b2c2: line 20: /usr/local/b2c2/bin/b2agent: No such file or directory # Squid seems not to have been installed on this system This time, I ran lsmod and ifconfig in order to confirm linux machine status. #/ [root@61-250-140-101 bin]# lsmod # Module Size Used by Tainted: P # skynet 129528 1 # sll_lib 148836 0 [skynet] # soundcore 6404 0 (autoclean) # r8169 8488 1 # iptable_filter 2412 0 (autoclean) (unused) # ip_tables 15224 1 [iptable_filter] # loop 12152 0 (autoclean) # lvm-mod 64000 0 # keybdev 2944 0 (unused) # mousedev 5492 1 # hid 22148 0 (unused) # input 5856 0 [keybdev mousedev hid] # usb-uhci 26348 0 (unused) # usbcore 78784 1 [hid usb-uhci] # ext3 70784 2 # jbd 51892 2 [ext3] # [root@61-250-140-101 bin]# ifconfig # eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:11:09:D8:07:7E # inet addr:61.250.140.101 Bcast:61.250.140.127 Mask:255.255.255.192 # UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 # RX packets:32965 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 # TX packets:6411 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 # collisions:0 txqueuelen:100 # RX bytes:7079106 (6.7 Mb) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b) # Interrupt:10 Base address:0xef00 # eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:D0:D7:02:54:39 # inet addr:192.168.69.66 Bcast:192.168.69.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 # UP BROADCAST RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:4096 Metric:1 # RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 # TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 # collisions:0 txqueuelen:100 # RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b) # Interrupt:11 Base address:0xbc00 # lo Link encap:Local Loopback # inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0 # UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1 # RX packets:79 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 # TX packets:79 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 # collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 # RX bytes:4256 (4.1 Kb) TX bytes:4256 (4.1 Kb) and I ran b2settuner. # [root@61-250-140-101 bin]# ./b2settuner -a eth1 -ma 0x00d0d7b2c2e4 -i a -f 573 -pva # 0x11 -paa 0x14 I confirmed machine status by b2status. # [root@61-250-140-101 bin]# ./b2status -a eth1 -all # **************** Tuner capabilities: ******************** # Tuner type : Terrestrial ATSC # Transponder frequency range : 54000 kHz - 803000 kHz # Tuner frequency range : 0 kHz - 0 kHz # Symbol rate range : 0 kS/s - 0 kS/s # Auto Symbol Rate : NOT SUPPORTED # BER : NOT SUPPORTED # SNR : SUPPORTED # Signal Strength : NOT SUPPORTED # Signal Quality : SUPPORTED # Total Block Count : SUPPORTED # Corrected Block Count : NOT SUPPORTED # Uncorrected Block Count : SUPPORTED # Global Key : NOT SUPPORTED # PID-only Key : NOT SUPPORTED # PID-TSC Keys Max : n/s # ************* Current Tuner information: **************** # Status In Lock : YES # Signal Strength : n/s # Signal Quality : 100 % # SNR : 28.988001 # BER : n/s # Total Blocks : 0 # Corrected Blocks : n/s # Uncorrected Blocks : 0 # Settings Frequency : 573 MHz # Symbol Rate : n/s # FEC : n/s # Polarity : n/s # Modulation : unknown value (0) # Diseqc : n/s # LNB Frequ. : n/s # LNB Select. : n/s # Guard Interv. : n/s # ****************** IP statistics: *********************** # IP Streams : 0 open, 0 running # IP PIDs : Max 33, Current 0 # Datagram Table ID : unknown (0) # Error: failed to get hardware MAC address. What was wrong? I just followed readme file. My linux machine's kernel is 2.4.20-8 , gcc version is 3.2.2-2, and distribution linux is hancom linux 3.1 which is compatible with redhat 9.0.
