Johannes, I'm not doing something correctly; I have set all the flags you indicated, recompiled and placed the new kernel in the proper place, rebooted, and then setup the test. When I do SysRq-T - it just types a "t" on my screen; I Ctrl-C to stop the ifconfig, and then check dmesg, and nothing.
