I forgot to mention above that once the card is able to get a lock, it
continues to work correctly until I reboot the machine. As I type this,
I am viewing an mpeg stream.... The machine has been left powered on for
the past 36 hours or so...maybe longer. This confirms that my
intermittent problem is NOT a heating issue, (and the fact the i dont
have the problem in windows).
Attached is output from mplayer..... Maybe this can help to explain my
situation where the ts stream lasts for a short time. On some channels
I can get a stream lasting many minutes, and on other channels, the
stream only holds for a few seconds..... I have gotten better results
using xine, but I figured posting this output could help to explain my
situation.
I thought this might have been a mplayer problem, but proved myself
wrong when I fed mplayer a saved HD .ts stream that I captured from the
windows software. It worked perfectly with no such errors as below:
