I got the Artec T1 to work again but in a rather unimpressive way. This also reveals what almost certainly had happened the other time it had actually worked yesterday. Restarting the laptop from Windows and booting Linux kept the Artec T1 alive and it was found in the warm state and the correct driver loaded (...or something similar) Obviously this is no real solution but at least a way out. Can this help in any way towards a better solution? Under windows the box on my machine was using dgtvcap.sys by DibCom.
