Anyway i am waiting for the > response from them too .. I've taken a photo of the board and a close-up of the only interesting chips that I can see on it. Most stuff seems to be hidden in the big tin box. here is a picture of the whole board: http://www.cole-baker.e7even.com/fullboard.jpg And here is a close-up of the large microchips, the smaller one that you can't read the writing on is the MT352: http://www.cole-baker.e7even.com/chips.jpg The MT352 says on it: MT352 CG 0510F WS Since I wrote my first message, i have tried modprobing the cx88 module with the card=19 option to tell it that the card is the Conexant Reference DVB-T design (hey, it might just work). After I do this, modprobing the cx88_dvb module gives me some more dmesg output than just "cx2388x dvb driver version 0.0.4 loaded". This is what it now shows: cx2388x dvb driver version 0.0.4 loaded ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:08.2[A] -> Link [LNKD] -> GSI 11 (level, low) -> IRQ 11 cx88[0]/2: found at 0000:00:08.2, rev: 5, irq: 11, latency: 32, mmio: 0xe4000000 cx88[0]/2: cx2388x based dvb card mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=127, ret==-121) cx88[0]: frontend initialization failed cx88-dvb: probe of 0000:00:08.2 failed with error -1 It seems it's now recognising it as a DVB card but failing when it tries to start controlling it :( . I think the help of driver developers may be needed for this one...
