Once the message is received by the driver, it reassembles the message into the format what the driver requires, which resembles EN50221 in many cases, and this resemblence had "fooled" me many times. The changes required is different from hardware to hardware.. So the driver makes the necessary changes to the EN50221 message, rather than the userspace doing it. Doing it this way, will help using it with many other hardware as well .. Manu
